Private 8931 3rd Battalion Royal Fusiliers
Frank Cumberbatch was born in June 1890 Woodstock, Staffordshire, England. He the son of Edwin Cumberbatch and Tamar nee Higginson and brother of Edwin Cumberbatch.
Frank was a pottery packer when he joined the army. Private 8931 3rd Battalion Royal Fusiliers arrived in France on 25th February 1915 and was killed in action at St Jean, Ypres, Belgium in 14 Apr 1915.
