In the name of God Amen I Letitia Croxton of the Island of Barbados Spinster being of perfect health mind and memory but under a due sence [sic] of the uncertainty of this present life Doe make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following that is to say First I bequeath my Soule unto Almighty God and my body to be buried in decent manner and for my Estate reall and personal in this world I dispose thereof as followeth vizt. I give devise and bequeath unto my three brothers John Croxton, Thomas Croxton and Robert Croxton the sum’e of fifty pounds sterling a peece to my sister Anne Cumberbridge the sume of fifty pounds sterling. To my other foure Sisters Elizabeth Sarah Mary and Deborah Croxton (or by what other Surnames they may be called by reason of intermarriage) I give devise and bequeath the sum’e of fifty pounds to each of them. To Mr Benjamin Hole and Mr Samuel Bateman whom I have __ my Attornyes for the management of my affaires in in this Island I give and bequeath the summe of Five pounds apiece and my Will is in case any of my Brothers or Sisters shall dye before this my Will be probated, or any time afterwards without Issue of their bodies that the Legacy or Legacies bequeathed to such Legatee or Legatees soe dyeing be equally divided amongst my surviving brothers and sisters and as to all the rest residue and remainder of my estate of what nature kind or qualities soever the same be of I give devise and bequeath to my brother John Croxton his heirs and assigns forever whom I make sole Executor of this my last will and testament. And I doe hereby revoke annul and make void all former and other will and wills Codicill Codicills whatsoever heretofore by me made Witness my hand and seale the Twenty fifth day of August in the years of our Lord 1690 [25th Aug 1690].

This is a Codicill ordered to be part of my last Will and Testament and to remained with the same Item I give and bequeath unto Mrs Amy Hincks wife of Mr John Hinckes my Negro Girl by name Betty in case I shall dye in my intended voyage for England. Witnesse my hand and seale the twenty fifth day of August Anno Dni 1690 being the same date of my Will. L Croxton
