Reginald Mordaunt CUMBERLEGE-WARE (also known as Reginald Mordaunt CUMBERLEGE), was the son of Henry Mordaunt CUMBERLEGE (1850-1934) and Blanche Paquita Genevra FENWICK (1855?-1939). He was born in 1879 in Sandy, Bedfordshire, England. On 3 April 1881 he lived in Westminster, London, England. The address was: 21 Prince's Gate, St Margaret. Gladys Mary ROSE (also known as Gladys Mary CUMBERLEGE and Gladys Mary CUMBERLEGE-WARE), daughter of Charles Marston ROSE. She was born in September 1888 in Kensington. On 17 November 1909 she lived in 32 Thurloe Place, Kensington, London, England. On 2 April 1911 she lived in Kensington. The address was: 6 Sumner Terrace, Onslow Square. She died Q1 1974 in Poole Registration District.  She and Reginald Mordaunt CUMBERLEGE-WARE had the following children:

On 1 June 1916 he was a Lieutenant Royal Horse and Royal Field Artillery Territorial Force 27 Jun 1917. On 10 September 1917 he was an Acting Captain whilst employed as 2nd in Command of a Battery, Royal Field Artillery, Territorial Force. On 10 November 1918 he was a Lieutenant (actg. Capt.), 1st Home Counties Brigade Royal Field Artillery, relinquishes the acting rank of Captain on ceasing to be employed. On 10 December 1921 he was an Esquire. On 30 November 1929 he was a Captain R. M. Cumberlege having attained the age limit relinquishes his commission and retains his rank. On 12 June 1943 he was a Stockbroker aged 85. On 28 January 1947 he lived in Stanwell House, Stanwell, Middlesex, England. On 28 January 1947 he lived. On 28 January 1947 he was a Stockbroker in 35 Gresham House, Old Broad Street, London, England.  

Change of Surname to Cumberlege-Ware

NOTICE is hereby given that by a deed poll dated the 20th day of January 1947 and duly enrolled in the Supreme Court of Judicature on the 28th day of January 1947 REGINALD MORDAUNT CUMBERLEGE-WARE of 35 Gresham House, Old Broad Street in the city of London and of Stanwell House, Stanwell in the county of Middlesex Stock Broker a natural born British subject assumed the surname of Ware in addition to the surname of Cumberlege so that at all times in future he will use the surname of Cumberlege-Ware -Dated the 28th day of January 1947.
