George Cumberbatch

George Cumberpatch was born in Moulton, Northamptonshire, England in 1877. He was the son of John Cumberpatch and his wife Mary nee Jayes. His family had moved to Nottingham by 1890 and he became a labourer. In 1901 he was a bricklayer's labourer.

George married Martha Andrews at St Saviour Church, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England on 20 May 1899. They had three children:
